Interprofessional Health & Aging Studies Student Scholarship

Dr. Laura Santurri, Chair of the Department of Interprofessional Health & Aging Studies (IHAS), is once again running for a cause! On Labor Day weekend, she will be participating in A Race for the Ages, an ultra-endurance event designed to be equitable for people of all ages. Each runner has the same number of hours to run/walk as their age in years, and everyone finishes together at 1:00 p.m. Eastern on Monday, September 4, 2023. The oldest runner this year (91 years young!) will be kicking things off on Thursday, August 31, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. Eastern. Dr. Santurri will get started at 8:00 p.m. Eastern on Saturday, September 2, 2023.

Dr. Santurri is using this as an opportunity to fundraise for the IHAS Student Scholarship and raise awareness about the commitment of IHAS students to enhance the quality of life of older adults and promote a positive and holistic view of aging across the life course. 

Gifts to the IHAS Student Scholarship fund will help students in all IHAS programs further their education. Thank you for your generous heart and monetary gift!
